Etiquette of Hajj and Umrah

There are etiquettes for Hajj and Umrah that must be followed in order for it to be a healthy Hajj. In this article, we will talk about the etiquette of Hajj and Umrah and the steps that we must follow for reservations and inquiries about our offers and reservations for Makkah hotels

- The person who wants to perform Hajj and Umrah should invoke the intention of getting closer to God Almighty in all his circumstances; So that his words, actions, and expenses are close to God Almighty, for actions are by intentions, and every person has what he intended. The world and its adornment We will repay them their deeds in it, and they will not be diminished in it. Those who have nothing in the Hereafter except the Fire, and what they did in it is invalid, and what they used to do is void.

- Studying the rituals of Hajj before going out to it; As we worship the rituals of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, who said: (Take your rites from me), so we should be careful to implement the rites as the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, did and the scholars explained them, and not to neglect any of them on the pretext that it is not obligatory. In it, and supplicating on Safa and Marwa with raising the hands in them, as in Arafat and in Al-Mash’ar after dawn and after stoning the Minor and Middle Jamrah. Including staying in Mina on the eighth day until sunrise on the day of Arafat, entering Arafat at noon, and devoting oneself to supplication and seeking forgiveness after prayer. Including starting the prayer upon reaching Muzdalifah, standing in Muzdalifah after dawn until it is very far away, raising his hands in supplication, then leaving it before sunrise. Mina on his right and supplication after stoning the lower and middle after descending from it, including entering Mecca for the Hajj circumambulation after the solution, purifying and wearing perfume.

- Sincere repentance from all sins, including observing the five daily prayers in congregation if he is one who neglects them, pleasing parents and honoring them, asking for forgiveness from them, asking for forgiveness from those among whom there was bitterness or animosity, and returning rights to their owners.

- To advise his family and friends to fear God, obey Him, turn to Him, and beware of His disobedience, His wrath, and His punishment.

- Writing his will and what he has and what he owes and testify to that.

- The woman should fear God in herself, so she should beware of displaying her perfume and adorning herself when going out, and she should avoid crowding with men and mixing with them as much as she is able to do so.

-- Take what is sufficient for him from alimony and belongings; To dispense with people, help the needy, give alms, and choose good spending; When it was authenticated on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, that he said: “God is good and only accepts that which is good.”

- To choose good companions, and to adopt virtuous morals such as generosity, tolerance, forgiveness and extroversion to his companions, helping them with money and the body, and bringing them pleasure.

- Taking care of Islamic morals from leaving until returning in speaking, sitting, eating, drinking, talking, sleeping, walking, and others.

- Beginning with the supplication for travel when going out, saying the takbeer when ascending a higher place, glorifying Allah if it descends to a lower place, and seeking refuge with the words of God when descending.

- To perform the rituals of Hajj out of honor, reverence, love and submission to God, Lord of the worlds, and perform them with serenity and dignity, following the Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, the Almighty said: (That and whoever honors the rituals of God, it is from the piety of hearts), and he said: (Hajj is the most well-known information, so whoever imposes Hajj in them There is no obscenity, immorality, or controversy during Hajj, and whatever good you do is known to God, and provide for the best provisions, for the best provisions are piety, and beware, O people of understanding.” And the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said:

- To occupy himself in these great feelings of remembrance, takbeer, glorification, praise, forgiveness and supplication, and not to neglect and waste them with a lot of joking and laughter and what is useless and what does not concern him.

- Extreme caution against committing taboos such as backbiting, gossiping and mocking others, and against violating what is forbidden during Hajj in particular; Many of the pilgrims, if they enter the state of ihram for Hajj, do not feel that they are clothed in an act of worship that forces them to stay away from what God has forbidden! The Almighty said: (Hajj is the most well-known information, and whoever is required to perform Hajj, there is no obscenity, immorality, or controversy during Hajj), and obscenity is sexual intercourse in word or deed, and immorality is a name. For all sins, and argument is the argument in the matter of Hajj; God has made it clear and explained and cut off arguments about it as they were in the pre-Islamic era arguing about its rulings, and Ibn Hazm was strict and said: (Whoever deliberately commits a sin, any sin it was while remembering his Hajj since he was forbidden until he completes his circumambulation of the House to perform the ritual prayer and throws the pebbles, then his Hajj is invalid).

- Being keen on benefiting Muslims, being kind to them and having mercy on them.

- Enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong and teaching people, and we should beware of speaking about God without knowledge, and beware of rushing to a fatwa
