God is about him he said: (the time of the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him to the people of the city, and for the people of the velvet, and the people of the middle of the houses, and for the people of Yemen, they have, So he gave him a respite from his family, and so did the people of Mecca enjoy it).

As defined by the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, the spatial times are in 5 different locations in the direction of Mecca Al-Mukarramah, and these are locations that an individual wishing to perform Hajj may not cross to Mecca without Ihram.

The timings were detailed in more detail as follows:

- Miqat of Dhul-Hulaifa:

This meeqat is for the people of Madinah, and also for those who pass through it from among its people, which is a small village and is about six miles away from Madinah.

This miqat is considered one of the farthest miqat from Makkah al-Mukarramah, as it is 450 km away from it. Also, from this miqat, the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, entered ihram for the Farewell Pilgrimage.

It was called Al-Halifa, in reference to the diminutive of the “Al-Halaf” plant, which was famous for its abundance in the site. With regard to its location, its mosque is located north of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, while you will find that it is 433 km away from the Grand Mosque, while its location is 640 meters above sea level.

- Miqat Al Juhfa:

 This meeqat belongs to the people of the Levant, who came before it, whether from those countries “Egypt, Morocco and Andalusia.” It is a large village and you will find it located between Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah, and it was called by this name because the torrent swept it away in the past, in addition to that, near it is a village Its name is Rabigh, and we will notice that people are now forbidden to go to Al-Juhfa or through Rabigh because of its proximity to it.

Miqat of Qarn al-Manazil:

This meeqat is for the people of “Najd, Taif, Emirates, Kuwait, the Gulf and those who are on their way.” You will find that it is a mountain that overlooks Arafat, and it is now called “The Great Seal.” The meeqat of Qarn al-Manazil is also known as Qarn al-Thaleb, and this miqat is the closest. to the holy city of Mecca.

This meeqat is located 55 kilometers north of Taif, while it is 1200 meters above sea level. You will notice that it is about 75 kilometers away from Makkah Al-Mukarramah.

This meeqat includes a mosque equipped with all the services needed by pilgrims and pilgrims. It also contains ample parking for cars, as well as green spaces, water tanks, and toilets.

- Miqat zirq:

As for this meeqaat, it is for the people of Iraq and the people of the East, and it is considered an old village that has been destroyed, and you will find it about a hundred kilometers away from the holy city of Makkah.

Miqat Yalamlam:

 Finally, this meeqat is for the people of Yemen and India, and it is a well-known mountain, and you will find it located in the south of Makkah, which is approximately one hundred and twenty kilometers away from it.

It must be known that these timings are for those who live outside Makkah Al-Mukarramah, as it is permissible for a foreigner to enter into Ihram, and this is for one of these times, and that is even if he is not among its people.

But for those Meccans who reside in the city of Mecca, they are forbidden from the Haram, i.e. from Mecca itself, without going to those times.

Ihram times for Hajj

And for those who wish to know what the timings mean in the language, they are the plural of the meqat, and this is the specific time for performing the act, and later it became used until it indicates the exact place for performing the act.

While you will find it in the legal terminology: It is the time for performing Hajj, in addition to being the place of Ihram for it.

These timings are times of the year in which it is not valid to do any of the acts of Hajj except during them, and you will find that the Islamic Sharia has specified these times and clarified them, the Almighty said: (The Hajj is the most well-known information), and this means that the time for performing the acts of Hajj is in the most well-known months.

While we find that the jurists have unanimously agreed that the temporal miqat for Hajj is in the month of Shawwal and also in the month of Dhu’l-Qa’dah and the first ten days of the month of Dhul-Hijjah, and this is according to the Hanafi, Shafi’i and Hanbali jurists, while Imam Malik has argued that with the inclusion of the entire month of Dhul-Hijjah, with The months of Shawwal and Dhul Qi’dah.

Spatial times:

While the spatial times of Hajj and Umrah are considered to be places that are specific and also known, and the Islamic Sharia has specified them, in order for the pilgrim to be deprived of them and until his ihraam is valid, and here it is not permissible for him to go beyond them without being deprived of them.
